Fees

After several years of being offered at no cost, the 2024 conference saw the introduction of participation fees. The payment is required to cover the necessary costs associated with running the conference and the project Medical Review Auschwitz. The fees are collected by the Polish Institute for Evidence Based Medicine, a nonprofit nongovernmental foundation. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Participation fees include: 

  • Day 1: Transfer from Kraków to Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum and back, guided tour in English with a special entry to Block 10 (up to 3 h), visit to the exhibition “Negatives of memory. Labyrinths” by Marian Kołodziej, refreshments and lunch. 
  • Day 2: Course materials (PDF), refreshments and lunch, certificate of attendance with CME credits. 
  • Day 3: Refreshments and lunch, certificate of attendance with CME credits. 

Cancellation terms 

Participants can withdraw their participation by writing to mra@piebm.org. The refund will be made to the original payer and with the same method of payment used for purchase. The refunded amount may be subject to deductions, as outlined below: 

  • Before June 30: A full refund of 100% of the paid participation fee. 
  • From July 1 through July 31: A partial refund of 50% of the paid participation fee. 
  • From August 1: The participation fee is nonrefundable.
